As break stop while skiing, as starting point for a lively tobogganing session or as après-ski stop at the end of the day: a break at a mountain hut is always a good option.

The probably cosiest mountain huts are found in the Salzkammergut. Some offer a fantastic view, some a comfortable bench next to the stove, many offer hearty and deliciously smelling delights and all of them have a unique air. It is so good to stay there and almost a must to return.
